Dr. Sanjay Vaghani is a highly experienced Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with over 13 years of expertise in diagnosing and treating complex cardiovascular diseases. He specializes in coronary angiography, angioplasty, structural heart interventions, and preventive cardiology, providing evidence-based cardiac care with a patient-first approach.

He completed MBBS, MD (Medicine), and DM in Interventional Cardiology, along with FSCAI certification. Since 2009, he has been practicing interventional cardiology and has served patients in Surat since 2014. His extensive experience includes 25,000+ coronary angiographies, 7,000+ angioplasties, and 2,000+ complex angioplasty procedures, making him one of the region’s experienced interventional cardiologists.

Dr. Vaghani leads the “Save Myocardium Task Force”, promoting timely pharmacoinvasive treatment for heart attack patients where catheterization laboratory access is limited. He also founded the “Healthy Heart Initiative”, focusing on preventive cardiology through lifestyle modification, awareness programs, regular cardiac check-ups, and risk factor management.
