He completed his MBBS, M.S. (General Surgery) from B. J. Medical College & Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, followed by M.Ch. in Urology from MGM Institute, Aurangabad, a renowned kidney institute and transplant center. He also cleared DNB in Genitourinary Surgery on his first attempt and served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at J. J. Hospital, Mumbai.
